Here is what the Bible says about love:
Love is longsuffering, merciful, love does not envy, love does not boast, is not proud, does not be disorderly, does not seek its own, is not angry, does not think evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; covers everything, believes everything, hopes for everything, endures everything.
Love never ceases, though prophecy shall cease, tongues shall be silenced, and knowledge shall be dissolved.
(1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
It is imperative that you evaluate what you have toward that girl. Sometimes it can be lust or desire. True love is willing to sacrifice and give. In the beginning people have sympathy, affection, falling in love – but true love is born on a solid foundation besides feelings should be friendship and principle. This is my man and I love him regardless of the circumstances. And such a relationship can only be with the person with whom you develop a relationship from the first day you meet, date, and continue in marriage until death separates you. It is almost impossible to truly love someone who does not reciprocate. After all, you don’t know such a person deeply and thoroughly.
As for courtship, you can try to wrestle for your affection. There is a golden rule of the Bible.
And as you want people to
people do to you, so do you
Do unto them.
Do whatever pleases that girl within the moral and biblical framework, but do not force yourself on her.
You can’t force yourself.
Flowers, candy, surprises, secret notes, gifts, help in some way, advice, care, sincere interest.
And remember – prayer is very important, maybe God has someone else for you.
